RISK AND LIABILITY

If you want to attend any of our events, retreats or use our services including our Freedom Mind Facebook Group and website or any other online spaces, you must agree to, conform to and be legally bound by the terms and conditions described below. If you disagree with any of these terms and conditions, please do not use our services or book onto any events or retreats.

1. Acceptance of Offer

We do not provide services or offer any events to children. If you are below the age of 18, please do not disclose any personal information to us or book onto any of our events or retreats.

2. Liability

2.1 You recognise that there is a significant inherent risk of injury that can occur from taking part in the activity; that severe injuries, including permanent paralysis or death can result by participating in the activity. Potential injuries include but are not limited to heart failure, loss of consciousness, stroke and other injuries and may be caused by the natural environment, temperature, techniques, extreme cold, cold water, weather conditions, condition of participants (including pregnancy or pre-existing conditions, disorders or injuries), breathing exercises, lack of hydration, drug use or other factors.

You acknowledge and understand that while participating in the activity:

– you may be injured, both physically or mentally, or may die;
– your personal property may be lost, damaged or stolen at no responsibility to the group organiser or facilitators;
– other participants may cause you injury or may damage your property;
– you may cause injury to other persons or damage their property;
– the conditions in which the activity is being conducted may vary without warning;
– you  may be injured or die or suffer damage to your property as a result of the negligence or breach of contract;
– in case of an accident and/or injury, there may be no or inadequate facilities for treatment or transport;
– You assume the risk of and responsibility for any injury, death or property damage resulting from your participation in the activity.

You will immediately remove from the activity if at any time you sense or observe any unusual hazards or unsafe conditions or if you feel that you have experienced any deterioration of your physical, emotional, or mental condition, which might render you unfit for continued participation.

You agree and acknowledge that you are under no pressure or duress to participate in the activity.

2.2 While specific rules, equipment, and personal discipline might reduce this risk, there still remains the risk of serious injury. You knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the group organiser or the activity facilitators and you assume full responsibility for your participation.

2.3 Under no circumstances will we be liable or responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential (including damages from loss of business, lost profits, litigation, or the like), special, exemplary, punitive, or other damages, under any legal theory, arising out of or in any way relating to your participation in our events or activities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Get in touch early if you need to cancel for whatever reason. We will do our best to re-sell your place, which we have a better chance of doing if you let us know as soon as possible. If we are able to resell your place, we will be more than happy to give you a refund from the full amount paid.

1. Cancellations

1.1 If you cancel 31 or more days from the event or retreat start date then we will provide you with a full refund. 

1.2 If you cancel 0 to 30 days from the event or retreat start date then the booking at this stage is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another date.

1.3 We reserve the right to cancel an event or retreat for any reason. This would only happen in exceptional circumstances resulting in us not being able to offer the event as advertised, or if the minimum number of participants to run the event is not met, or in case of Force Majeure. Should this happen, we will notify you as soon as we have knowledge of the cancellation and will refund you the full GBP amount you paid us in respect of the event. We cannot be hold liable for any expenses which you may have incurred, such as travel, holiday days or exchange rate losses.
